Sanpei is a young boy who tends to bees and is the only one who survived a fatal mishap that took his entire family. As he crosses paths with Chiyo, a girl who becomes stung by one of his bees, he decides to embark upon a fresh start by settling down in her village. With his tireless efforts, Sanpei manages to revive the abandoned land and transforms it into a flourishing garden before vanishing without a trace. Although he is gone, Chiyo holds onto hope, anticipating Sanpei's return to the land now adorned with mesmerizing blossoms.
