The Ishinomori Manga Museum recently premiered a brief animated movie from director Takuya Inaba. The film, inspired by Shotaro Ishinomori's autobiographical manga, Jun: Shotaro no Fantasy World, is a wordless adaptation. Honoring Ishinomaki, Ishinomori's birthplace, the project celebrates the rebuilding and restoration efforts that succeeded the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
