Despite surviving the attack at Sarugaku headquarters, Sousuke Banba persists in his goal of eradicating the Kagewani monster hybrids. His skill in managing their power allows him to eliminate them effectively, but it takes a toll on his mental health. Sousuke encounters new obstacles as former and new enemies reappear, and Sarugaku's leaders resume their activities. Moreover, a vengeful foe fixates on Sousuke, but he remains determined to discover the source of the Kagewani and eradicate their threat once and for all.
