After defeating their enemy Naraku, Inuyasha and his group rush back to their normal lives, unaware of the danger lurking around them. Kanna and Kagura, Naraku's henchmen, plan to free a powerful demon known as Princess Kaguya, who claims to be from the Heavens. However, the group members are too occupied with their own tasks to notice the odd coincidences occurring around them, including strange happenings during full moons. As they dig deeper, they realize that Kaguya is behind the chaos and possesses incredible strength, and they join forces once again to stop her from causing worldwide destruction.
