Regret consumes Iketani for not making amends with Mako-chan the last time he saw her. Destiny puts them in close proximity six months later, but the reunion is awkward. Despite their yearning to talk, they are unable to do so due to time constraints, and they decide to meet again. Iketani shows up ahead of time at the agreed venue, and an older gentleman who was accidentally abandoned by his tour group approaches him. Being compassionate, Iketani offers to assist the man by tracking down his bus.
