Mimu Emilton, an adorable fourteen-year-old with a desire to become an idol, is attending the celebrated Starland Festival. Her role model is Yuri, who is now the President of Earth and has urged everyone to strive for greatness as Excellent Idols. Unfortunately, Mimu's repeated mishaps (often leading to unintentional undergarment exposure) prevent her from arriving on time for the audition. However, she befriends the current Excellent Idols and seeks their help in escaping challenging situations. During her long-awaited audition, just as she takes the stage, unknown aliens abduct Mimu and the Excellent Idols. This begins an interdimensional pursuit that places Mimu in a position to save the world if she can only believe in herself.
