During the summer of 2005, Shogakukan created a promotional animation lasting 2.5 minutes to promote the forthcoming publication of Adachi Mitsuru's Idol Ace manga in the Weekly Young Sunday magazine. The animation showcases the protagonist being secretly filmed throughout the day by a voyeuristic individual.
