The protagonist of the story is Nagisa Yukiai, a high schooler who lives in a seaside village. She firmly believes in her grandmother's tale about "kotodama," which refers to the spirits contained within language. One day, while wandering around, she comes across a deserted mini FM station and hastily decides to try her hand at being a DJ. Sadly, her voice ends up reaching a completely unexpected audience during the broadcast.
