Kyousuke, the younger brother of renowned Japanese soccer player Seisuke Kanou, was expected to follow in his brother's footsteps and excel in soccer. However, despite the pressure to succeed, he struggled and now lives in the shadow of his brother's accomplishments. At the start of his freshman year at Jouyou Akanegaoka High School, Kyousuke makes the difficult decision to quit soccer for good. But when the girls' team captain, Miki Tsujiwaki, and the boys' team manager, Mori Kazuto, recognize his potential, they encourage him to reconsider. Now, Kyousuke is faced with a tough choice: give up on soccer and his dreams or reignite his passion and strive to become the world's greatest striker.
