After his mother's passing, twelve-year-old Taro heads to Tokyo to reside with his grandfather. Surprisingly, Taro discovers that his grandfather dwells in a magnificent mansion occupied by numerous beautiful maids dedicated to catering to his every need. While Taro is unenthusiastic about this, viewers delight in his predicament since he not only inherits the Hanaukyo estate but also gains the aid of the maids round the clock.
