As a child prodigy, Ayayam excelled in everything, from school to sports and even artistic endeavors. However, when she heard her friends mock a picture book she loved and had given to one of them, it devastated her. She decided to distance herself from friends altogether, locking herself in the library and never leaving. The God of Books felt sympathy for Ayayam and gifted her a Magic Quill that effortlessly drew any picture and told any story she wanted. Meanwhile, Hamtaro discovered Laura and her classmates planned to perform "Sunflower Taro" for their school play. Hamtaro and friends also wanted to try acting and devised their own version of the play. During their preparations, they were sucked into the Picture Book Tower, where Ayayam revealed they would play characters in her version of "Sunflower Taro." As always, things got interesting with the Ham-Hams involved.
