Laura Haruna, a 5th-grade student, has a hamster named Hamtaro. Upon moving to a new town, Hamtaro discovers he's amongst a diverse group of hamsters. These hamster friends embark on wild expeditions throughout the city. In order to rescue Laura and other humans from dangerous situations, the team must first learn how to safeguard themselves.
