In a tiny world where the residents are mere inches tall, Hakumei and Mikochi reside in a cozy tree-house. One is a high-spirited carpenter while the other is a serene and feminine tailor. They keep busy with work, explore new terrains, and shop at Tsumiki Marketplace located by the seashore. Along the way, they encounter critters of the forest like Iwashi the Weasel, and other pint-sized individuals such as Konju, a melodious singer, and Sen, an innovative inventor. Despite their contrasting personalities, the two friends have a harmonious relationship, and their tranquil story uncovers the intricacies of their daily routine.
