Yi-rang, on the brink of abandoning her athletic dreams, engineers a fall during a relay race to avoid losing. Soo-min, a newcomer from Seoul, and Cheol-soo, aspiring to be a scientist, enter her life in the midst of their own youthful aspirations. Although immature, the trio's encounters with benevolent individuals provide encouragement for Yi-rang's dreams and embody the magic and excitement of adolescence. With a nostalgic setting in the 80s and 90s, old umbrellas and a downtown railroad elicit memories of a vanished past and shed light on the disappearing "dreams" of modern society, where rapid capitalization reigns supreme.
