Shuichi's biggest dream was to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Ryuichi Sakuma, and his band Nittle Grasper. After forming a band called Bad Luck with his best friend Hiro and getting signed to a major record label, Shuichi's studio deadlines are fast approaching and he hasn't finished writing any lyrics yet. Desperate for inspiration, Hiro suggests finding a girlfriend, but fate has a different plan in mind. One night, while walking through the park, Shuichi's latest lyrics fly away and land at the feet of a striking stranger who leaves him breathless. However, this stranger turns out to be the famous novelist Eiri Yuki, who harshly criticizes Shuichi's talent. Determined to prove Yuki wrong, Shuichi finishes his song and seeks out Yuki once again. But as he confronts him, Shuichi realizes that his anger may actually be love.
