Bad Luck's lead singer and songwriter, Shindou Shuichi, is facing a daunting challenge. As the deadline for the band's new album looms nearer, the once lively Shuichi is now solemn and devoid of motivation. His despondency is attributed to Yuki, his beloved, who has withdrawn from him and turned apathetic. Shuichi is grappling with depression and anxiety, and his main focus is rekindling his relationship with Yuki, rather than creating music. To make matters worse, Shuichi's haughty proclamations to the media about his songwriting abilities have caused Bad Luck to be unable to seek out other lyricists for assistance. Unless they can find a resolution to Shuichi's temporary writer's block soon, the band faces the risk of disbandment.
