The story kicks off as Gokudou pilfers a purse from a fortune teller in hopes of snagging a jewel. Yet, he's met with disappointment when all that's inside is a stone, which conjures a genie, Djinn. Granted three wishes, Gokudou's impulsive desires bear unexpected results. Despite this, he does obtain his coveted Honou no Maken, a powerful sword with the ability to summon fiery attacks from anywhere. Even with this advantage, Gokudou's reputation is still subpar. Djinn has him swapped into a female form, whilst Rubette La Late, a possible romantic interest, shadows him on his quest. She prefers thrills, singing, and outdoing Gokudou, who gets smacked around by the fortune teller who reappears multiple times to antagonize him. Later on, Prince, a charming ex-sorcerer, joins the entourage and upstages Gokudou as a womanizer.
