One evening, a Goblin dad bestowed upon his son a crimson handball. However, the lad was surprised to learn that his father had retrieved it in front of Yuki's abode. The boy made a decision to return the ball to its rightful owner the following morning and commenced his trek through the snow-filled town. Along the way, he stumbled upon a group of boys and girls joyously singing. Eventually, he reached a modest abode where he spotted a solitary girl seated on the porch. When she inquired about his identity, he silently surrendered the ball to her. Yuki was overjoyed to have it back and expressed her relief, revealing her unwell mother had crafted it for her. From that moment forward, the two became inseparable friends.
