The second installment of Ghost in the Shell: Arise follows the journey of Motoko Kusanagi, who has parted ways with the 501 Organization and faces the challenge of adapting to the authority of Aramaki. When the Logicomas encounter a security breach, Batou reaches out to ex-military intelligence officer Ishikawa and former air artillery expert Borma for assistance. Meanwhile, Kusanagi endeavors to assemble the ultimate team for the newly established Public Security Section 9, including expert sniper Saito and undercover cop Paz. As the two groups vie for supremacy while investigating a case involving a man with implanted false memories of a refugee transport operation, tensions escalate.
