After appearing to have been killed by Getter pilot Nagare Ryoma, Dr. Saotome miraculously comes back to life and poses a threat to the world with his latest invention, the Shin Dragon. To stop him, Ryoma begrudgingly teams up with his past co-pilots Jin Hayato and Tomoe Mushashi. However, they must also tackle the enigmatic Invaders - extraterrestrial beings that can take over human bodies and transform them into grotesque monsters.
