Operating in secrecy, the Japanese government's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division (SDCD) ensures the safety of citizens from otherworldly creatures. While their covert efforts have been successful in defeating these monsters, the agency faces a grave danger from within: betrayal. Following the passing of her mother, Kagura Tsuchimiya finds solace with the Isayama household and forges a deep bond with their daughter, Yomi. Together, they become proficient exorcists working with the SDCD. Nevertheless, the dual demands of their sacred mission and familial relations create a rift between the pair. While one remains dedicated to exorcism, the other descends into darkness, potentially beyond redemption.
