These warriors from the Edo era are said to embody the spirits of Princess Fuse's children, fathered by the dog Yatsufusa. In Fuse Gansaku: Satomi Hakkenden, the story's protagonist, Hamaji, a female hunter, pursues her sibling in order to track down Fuse.
