In 2001, a short film called Fukuro (meaning "bag" or "sack" in Japanese) was released, running for three minutes. The film features characters from Silent Hill 2, including Pyramid Head and a Lying Figure, along with the Fukuro Lady and various monsters from the game's earlier sketches. Masahiro Ito, the art director of the series, created the creature designs, while Akira Yamaoka, the composer of the series, produced the music. The film showcases surreal and unsettling imagery and has been made available on different platforms, such as Art of Silent Hill, Lost Memories: The Art & Music of Silent Hill, and The Silent Hill Experience.
