Following his encounter with his younger brother Shou in the Nether, Shinra Kusakabe's determination to become a hero who rescues people from the blaze of terror intensifies. He aims to undo the damage caused by the Infernals, reveal the secrets of the Evangelist and Adolla Burst, and also save his mother and brother. Yet he knows that these ambitions come with obstacles, particularly due to the grave threat posed by the Evangelist. The Evangelist's objective is evident: to collect the eight pillars, Adolla Burst possessors, and use them as sacrifices to recreate the Great Cataclysm from 250 years ago. Upon the First Pillar's revelation that another pillar will soon be born, Shinra sets his mind on safeguarding his fellow pillars from the Evangelist. Consequently, the sparring between the Special Fire Force and the Evangelist commences. Alongside the Special Fire Force, Shinra engages in a heated battle as he unearths the truth about the Great Cataclysm, Adolla Bursts, and the enigma of spontaneous combustion in humans.
