Years of hard work by numerous researchers had fortified the path of human history for at least a century. But abruptly, the future that Chaldea was observing disappeared, and worse still, they witnessed the extinction of humanity in 2017. It was no longer a mere observation but an undeniable confirmation. The cause of this annihilation was traced back to the Japanese city of Fuyuki in 2004, where an unexplainable phenomenon took place, leaving an unobservable realm that had never existed before. As a result, Chaldea launched the Grand Order and assembled the Holy Grail Expedition team. They were to investigate, uncover, and ultimately destroy the singularity responsible for the imminent extinction of humanity.
