The world is inhabited by fairies who possess animals, granting them mystical powers that were used as weapons. To summon the fairy as a counterpart for battle, the possessed creature's organs were removed and transplanted into humans. Those who employed fairies in warfare were referred to as "Fairy Soldiers." Following their purpose in the war, some turned to government service, others joined the mafia, and some resorted to terrorism, each making their own choices. It has been almost ten years since the war's end. Mariya, our protagonist, recently joined "Dorothea," a group dedicated to investigating and suppressing criminal activity associated with fairies. Criminals still carry scars from past battles, fueling their acts of terrorism out of revenge in an unstable political environment. This story follows Fairy Soldiers obstructing for their own sense of justice in an unpredictable postwar world.
