Coud realizes Ren's true value with lightning speed. Despite receiving an offer from the Edel Reid Complete Protection Agency's representatives to purchase Ren, Coud rejects their proposal. Nevertheless, when the ship is assaulted by an unknown entity, Coud's captain orders him to safeguard Ren.
