Gokuu Son and his comrades have triumphed in battle and now peacefully reside on Earth. However, Beerus, the mighty God of Destruction, awakens from his extended slumber with a prophetic dream about the elusive Super Saiyan God. Beerus and his assistant Whis embark on a quest to locate and battle this elusive being, ultimately targeting Gokuu as their primary opponent. Though Gokuu and his colleagues initially believe the Super Saiyan God to be a mere legend, they discover that even the Eternal Dragon trembles at the mention of Beerus. Through their efforts, they discover how to achieve the elusive Super Saiyan God state, and a fierce and epic battle between Gokuu and Beerus ensues. The immense power unleashed during this fight jeopardizes the very existence of Earth itself.
