Professor Senbe Norimaki goes by the name of Doctor Slump. He's a clumsy inventor who lives with his spouse and uncontrollable robot child, Arale. They have many weird adventures along with other inhabitants of their unusual world, including talking vegetation and rocks, a weak version of Superman, and aliens who want to go back home.
