Doraemon and his pals create a time portal and journey to the Country of Mayana, a hidden Mayan community located deep within the jungle. Once there, Nobita discovers his doppelganger, Prince Thio, who is next in line for the throne. The two agree to swap identities in an attempt to rescue Mayana from the clutches of the demonic Ledina witch and her malevolent followers.
