During a turbulent evening, a woman of a youthful age is shot and killed while situated upon a steep precipice; subsequently, her lifeless form is discovered the following morning adrift in the nearby waters. Prior to her untimely demise, she was last witnessed in the company of a man who is now deemed a fugitive not only in association with her death. Simultaneously, a separated spouse enlists the services of Goro, a private detective, to locate her missing partner. Accompanied by another member of law enforcement who has their own ulterior motivations for tracking down the individual, Goro sets off on a perilous journey of sorrow and deceit to uncover the motive and correlation connecting the string of murders and the elusive husband.
