The Chosen Children and their Digimon live in perfect harmony in the human realm. Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, and their companions are satisfied with their peaceful existence and diligently perform their duties as protectors. However, they also each have their own aspirations that extend beyond their roles as Chosen Children. Their idyllic life is abruptly interrupted by Menoa Bellucci, an expert in Digimon research from America. She shocks the group with the revelation that there are comatose Chosen Children scattered across the globe with their Digimon gone missing. Menoa suspects the culprit to be a new type of Digimon called Eosmon, which lurks in the depths of the internet. The Chosen Children must come together once again, overcome any differences, and prepare themselves for their greatest challenge yet in order to succeed in this mission.
