After a fight with his ex-best friend, Ren Fujii decides to end their friendship and resume his normal student life with the aid of childhood companion, Kasumi Ayase, and senior, Rea Himuro. However, their peace is disrupted when a string of savage beheadings grips their town. Coincidentally, Ren's dreams take a turn for the worst as he envisions himself falling victim to the guillotine. Little does he know that the terrors of reality will soon surpass these nightmares.
