Hina Tsurugi has settled in a charming coastal village and seeks solace in the calm seaside. While on her quest for tranquility, Hina meets Yuuki Kuroiwa, an older student from her school. Yuuki cordially invites Hina to join her on a fishing expedition, however, Hina's attempt to snag an octopus goes awry as the creature slips from her grasp and onto her. As someone who is petrified of large sea creatures and insects, Hina begs Yuuki to remove the octopus. Despite her initial reluctance to participate in the Breakwater Club, a group that catches and consumes diverse marine life, Hina feels compelled to join. In time, Hina's perspective shifts, and she begins to embrace the thrill of participating in varying club activities with her newfound companions.
