The staff behind the TV series of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes developed a unique version of the show. Despite little encouragement and some prodding from her father and Irene, Kokoro tenaciously resigns from her position as a police detective to pursue a career as an idol. Though she initially enjoys the attention and glamour of being an idol, she eventually grows weary of the lifestyle and pines for her former detective work. In an effort to fill the void left by Sherlock's absence, Henriette engineers a theft of a statue, using this event to persuade Kokoro to return to her previous job.
