The Halloween season is in full swing in Shibuya, Tokyo, bustling with activity. In the midst of it all, Shibuya Hikarie is hosting a lavish wedding, with Sato looking breathtaking in her bridal attire. Conan is amongst the guests witnessing the celebration, when an attacker suddenly barges in, severely injuring the valiant Takagi while attempting to harm Sato. The situation eventually de-escalates, and although Takagi survives, Sato cannot shake off the eerie resemblance between this ordeal and the bombing three years ago that claimed the life of her beloved Jinpei Matsuda. Meanwhile, the felon responsible for the bombings has managed to escape from confinement. Rei Furuya, also known as Toru Amuro, a member of the public safety police, is determined to avenge his slain classmate and tracking down the fugitive. But before long, an unknown assailant appears and places an explosive collar on Amuro. Conan springs into action and rushes to the underground shelter where Amuro is hiding, successfully defusing the bomb. Amuro then divulges details of his fateful confrontation with a mysterious virtual bomber named "Plamya" in Shibuya years earlier, which tragically resulted in the loss of his classmates. As Conan and his team delve deeper into their investigation, a sinister shadow looms over them.
