Shido Itsuka's mundane life as a student at Raizen High takes a complete turn in the second episode of Date A Live, as he meets the first Spirit named Tohka. Shido possesses the unique capacity to "seal the Spirit's power" and thus resolves to rescue these reclusive and detested creatures from their isolated and lethal existence. With a bold approach, Shido sets out to save these striking and potent Spirits with whom he embarks on perilous dates. He's their only savior.
