Nearly all of the earth's land now belongs to the Persona Century Corporation, which swiftly suppresses any opposing voices within its jurisdiction. Kabuki-cho, also known as "The Dark Side of Tokyo," remains an uncommon sanctuary beyond Persona's grasp. Here, a small faction called Messiah fights against Persona's control under the leadership of Mai, but their quest is fraught with uncertainty. Nonetheless, the situation changes with the sudden reappearance of Kabuki-cho: Darkside, a man imprisoned by Persona in another realm for 18 years. His arrival, accompanied by his unique ability to renew through mystical means, rekindles Messiah's aspirations to resist Persona.
