Junpei Murao was captivated by ballet from a young age, inspired by a captivating male ballet dancer he saw at his sister's recital. However, Junpei was determined to keep his love for ballet hidden behind more "manly" activities like soccer and Jeet Kune Do, refusing to be seen as effeminate and intent on following in his father's footsteps as a stunt coordinator.
When one of his classmates, Miyako Godai, catches Junpei demonstrating his unique kick that blends ballet and Jeet Kune Do, she invites him to join her mother's ballet studio. Although Junpei is initially resistant, he cannot shake the overwhelmingly blissful feelings that arise whenever he dances ballet. However, breaking free from the restraints of hypermasculinity proves to be challenging, and Junpei must decide whether he is willing to take the risk of fully committing to ballet and potentially sacrificing his relationships with his friends.
