The "patapi" is an adorable robotic creature resembling a cyber pet that performs tasks such as eating, sleeping, playing, and aiding its owners. Hibari Hanakoganei is ecstatic when a prince from her dream presents her with a patapi, which she affectionately names "Densuke". Hibari comes to realize that Densuke is unique when unidentified entities attempt to abscond with it. Densuke possesses magical properties that enable it to assume the likeness of Hibari and assume the role of a formidable cyber-fighter. Additionally, Hibari's companions receive patapis comparable to hers, and they band together as the Akihabara Cyber Team.
