Following reports of disturbance in Japan circa 1570, a member of the Time Patrol sets off to investigate. But en route, the member is attacked and becomes trapped beneath the Nohara residence in 20th century Japan. With scarce resources, the member seeks help from the Nohara family, and together they time travel back to meet the samurai Fubuki-maru, who believes they are the legendary figures destined to aid his family in defeating the evil Unkokusai lord. Feeling isolated, Fubuki-maru implores their assistance in taking down the lord who possesses extraordinary magical powers.
