In Moominvalley, some odd occurrences have been taking place. To verify the claims of Muskrat that a comet is approaching to obliterate everything, Moomin, Sniff, and Mee embark on a journey to the Observatory located on the Lonely Mountains. Along the way, they encounter Snufkin, the Hemulen and the Snorks, and undergo numerous exciting escapades.
