The "New Generation Madness," a string of murders across Shibuya, gained notoriety and sparked conversations. Despite this, Takumi Nishijou, a delusional high school otaku, remained uninterested in the crimes. Preferring to escape in online games and anime, Takumi's mundane existence is disrupted when he receives a ghastly image from a user named Shogun. After witnessing the exact scene depicted in the image, with a blood-soaked pink-haired girl calling his name, Takumi struggles to reconcile reality with his perception. As he becomes embroiled in the "New Gen" murders, Takumi is convinced that the killer is after him, making it challenging to know whom to trust.
