Walking to school may seem like a tedious task for the average Japanese high schooler, however for first-year Chio Miyamo, it's an adventure every time. She struggles to be punctual as she indulges in lengthy video gaming sessions every night, leading her to devise new routes to ensure she reaches Samejima Private Academy on schedule. During her peculiar commutes to school, Chio encounters various obstacles ranging from street closures to overly enthusiastic kabaddi players, and even caught up with misguided motorcycle gang leaders. But with her special ops training, acquired from her fervent interest in gaming, Chio, also known as "Bloody Butterfly" the notorious assassin, overcomes these minor setbacks with ease. Chio's determination to avoid her school's strict penalties for tardiness is fueled by her companions Manana Nonomura and Yuki Hosokawa, as they support each other to tackle whatever comes their way.
