Megumi is a girl harboring a mysterious past. She was once a boy until an encounter with someone she believed possessed magical abilities. This individual gifted her a mystical tome, containing a genie that could fulfill any one desire upon contact with blood. Megumi's wish was to inhabit a male body, but the genie wielded a cruel irony. Instead, it reversed the request, transmuting Megumi-kun, age 9, into Megumi-chan. Years pass, and Megumi enters high school, promptly dispatching the resident bully, who proceeds to develop a romantic attachment to her. She searches for the book, hoping to negate its curse.
