At a superficial level, Hikaru appears to be an average pupil. Nevertheless, he is, in fact, a valiant superhero who defends the planet against ferocious demons. He is armed with a formidable super bike and a tactical suit, and draws motivation from the legendary Space Sheriff trilogy of the Metal Heroes Tokusatsu series, specifically the characters of Space Sheriff Gavan and Sharivan.
