Tatsuya Yoigoshi, once a renowned soccer player, is now a freshman at Noukin High School, having traded his athletic aspirations for a career in livestreaming. Surprisingly, first-year kabaddi team member Souma Azemichi joins Yoigoshi's livestream seeking his enlistment. Without much deliberation, Yoigoshi follows Souma to the school gym where he witnesses a spirited kabaddi match between second-year students Kyouhei Misumi and Shinji Date, despite his original dislike for the game's regulations. Fascinated by the sport's ardor, Yoigoshi accepts the team's invitation through a kabaddi duel, a physical contact game played without equipment, motivated by an irresistible proposition and gentle coercion.
