The plot of the anime Deimos no Hanayome: Ran no Kumikyoku revolves around Minako Ifu, a student in high school who catches the attention of Deimos, the former god of horror. Zeus transformed Deimos into a demon as punishment for his love for his twin sister Venus, who is the goddess of love. Venus is held captive in the treacherous Swamp of Death, and Deimos can only rescue her by inhabiting the body of Minako, who resembles Venus remarkably. This OVA adaptation is based on a manga chapter that chronicles Minako's journey to locate her missing friend at a well-known botanist's mansion.
