The planet has descended into chaos and lost its original identity due to the Blue, an insect-like species, taking over. Yuji Kaido, who had been put in a state of suspended animation because of a mysterious illness, has awoken after two decades, waiting for a cure to be found. After realizing that the Blue have now claimed control over the world, he decides to join a team of fighters in their attempt at establishing a better future.
