The population was struck with a mysterious bout of insomnia 60 years ago, leaving them sleepless for over a week and causing many to go insane. A medicine was created to cure this ailment but unfortunately, it turned those who took it into vampires. Humanity fought against this new threat and ultimately emerged victorious, though some vampires survived. Mi Liu, the Child of Hope, is a unique being born from both a human and a vampire and serves as a symbol of hope for both species to come together. After being caught as the leader of a bank robbery, he is sent to a special prison run by the National Defense Agency that oversees vampires. In an attempt to escape with Anji, his partner-in-crime, they are attacked by strange creatures and soon discover that they are located in Blue Town - the birthplace of vampires. As they dig deeper, they uncover the secrets behind why the vampires are trapped in Blue Town and the identity of their assailants. In order to solve these mysteries, the heroes must engage in battle.
